Policy
| TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF KARIBU FAIR BOOKINGS | ||
| 1. | The organiser shall ensure that the stand is located within the exhibition ground in accordance with the terms of this agreement; however the organiser shall reserve the right to relocate the stand. | |
| 2. | The exhibitor undertakes to ensure that the stand is suitable for the intended purpose. | |
| 3. | Subject to the terms of this agreement, the organiser undertakes to relocate the venue if it shall for any reason whatsoever become unusable. The new venue will take into account the best interests of the exhibition as a whole. | |
| 4. | If for any reason the dates set shall be unsuitable, the organiser may undertake to reschedule the dates to meet the best interest of the exhibition as a whole; the exhibitor shall be bound by such dates. | |
| STAND PREPARATION: | ||
| 1. | The organiser shall from time to time issue written directives regarding methods and types of construction, stand layout, design and quality of installation and the exhibitor shall comply accordingly. | |
| 2. | The oganiser shall have free and undisturbed access to the stand at all times, during the preparation and use of the same by the exhibitor. | |
| 3. | The organiser may allow the exhibitor to make necessary additions or changes to the installation of the booth. | |
| USE OF THE STAND: | ||
| 1. | The use of any visual or audio instrument which may cause annoyance or nuisance to other exhibitors, the organiser or the landlord is prohibited. | |
| 2. | The exhibitor shall not distribute any literature or printed materials outside its stand without the written consent of the organiser. | |
| 3. | The exhibitor shall not in anyway transfer its rights under this agreement without the written consent of the organiser. | |
| 4. | The stand shall be kept open and adequately staffed throughout the time the exhibition will be open to the public. | |
| 5. | The organiser shall have the discretion to determine the nature of the services to be provided at the stand or exhibition. | |
| ATTENDANCE: | ||
| 1. | The number of persons expected to attend the exhibition is not guaranteed by the organiser. | |
| CANCELLATION AND BREACH: | ||
| 1. | That if for any reason the exhibitor shall cancel this contract or breach any of the terms thereof, then the amount outstanding in terms of this agreement will become immediately due and payable, notwithstanding that the exhibitor did not attend the exhibition. | |
| (a) | All bookings shall be confirmed after a full pay or a 50% deposit. The balance must be paid seven (7) days before payment deadline date. | |
| (b) | Cancellation made within 60 days before the Trade Fair will be free. |

| (c) | Cancellation made within 45 days before the fair shall be charged cancellation fee of 25% | |
| (d) | Cancellation made within 30 days before the fair shall be charged cancellation fee of 50% | |
| (e) | Cancellation made within 15 days before the fair shall be charged cancellation fee of 75% | |
| (f) | Cancellation made under 10 days before the fair or No Show shall be charged a cancellation fee of 100% | |
| 2. | That in case the organiser institute legal proceedings against the exhibitor, in breach of this contract, the exhibitor shall be held liable for all attendant costs including advocates fees. | |
| 3. | That if the exhibitor shall default in the payment of any outstanding sum on the due date, interest at the rate of 25% per annum will be charged until the said sum is paid in full. | |
| 4. | The physical address of the exhibitor shall be the one set out in this contract. | |
| 5. | This contract shall be enforced and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Tanzania. | |
| EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY: | ||
| 1. | While the organizer holds insurance for public liability, the organiser shall not in any event whatsoever be held responsible for any damage of any property within the exhibition grounds, or for any personal injury suffered by the exhibitor, employees and agents, contractors and invitees and all other persons within the exhibition grounds. | |
| 2. | That the organizer shall be immediately indemnified by the exhibitor’s claims, actions, demand, costs, loss or damages arising from any willful acts, negligence, recklessness or inadvertence on the part of the exhibitor, its servants and agents, contractors or invitees. | |
| GENERAL: | ||
| 1. | The term “organiser” in this contract means Karibu Trade Fair its agents and assigns or is successors in title and the term “exhibitor” means its agents and assigns or any successor in title. | |
| 2. | Any gestures or favours extended to the exhibitor by the organiser shall not constitute a variation of the terms of this contract. | |
| 3. | The decision to allocate or not to allocate stand space and the physical positioning of any stand space rests solely to the discretion of Karibu Fair and the exhibitor accepts the same unconditionally. | |
