Results of Karibu Fair’s Post Fair Survey

Thanks to everyone who responded to our on-line survey after participating in the 2009 Karibu Travel and Tourism Fair last June.
About 37% of responders were first time participants at the fair. Of the responders:

• 63% were exhibitors
• 2% were NGO exhibitors
• 34% were delegates/attendees
• 2% were vendors

• 84% were from Tanzania
• 11% were from Kenya
• 4% were from Uganda
• 0% were from Rwanda
• 2% were from the USA

76% of responders rated the overall quality of the fair as good to excellent.

33% of responders see Karibu Fair primarily as a business event while 4.2% view it as a social event with the remaining 62.5% seeing it as a bit of both.

The majority of responders wish to continue with an outdoor venue and 67% found attendance at the fair to be highly beneficial to their business.
